The purpose of this is that all the windows will stay as you want them.
nn to resize dropbox or anything like that.

I like to have these open:

Chat Log... so I don't have to look at the bottom of screen when someone msg's me. ( I don't get msged that much thank God)
Marketplace... so I can have it on my transfer tab and the Mule selected when I want to transfer off my gear [lvl1-25 gear, then level 35-MQ gear] ( I use vault so nn transfer)
Find Players... so I can keep a track of who is on at each level... this is set from 1-130 levels. ( I don't really care)
Shrine... so I do not have to click on that shrine and have the inventory box auto change all the time ( My inv doesn't change. No matter how much I open/close it Items stay in same place, stays same size, stays same location I put it)
Item Drop Box... this is self explanatory. ( Agreed- I hate redoing mine. It's always horizontal and at the bottom. I like it vertical and just on the right side of the door)
Prof Table... at times I like to see how my progress is going and for testing purposes. (Prof doesn't really need to be checked that often, unless you are doing some kind of test/experiment.)

Those are my reasons.

EDIT: and of course my Character Screen for placing stats / abilities ( I guess I could possibly get that if you have to set that 1 stat point as soon as you get it.)
