Okay. I'm stopping at Rank 4 and I think that's for the best. I learned a few important things about my playing habits this season that I need to work on going into next season.

1) I procrastinate a lot. I know I had a lot to do for school this month but even once that was finished it still took a while to get into playing Hearthstone regularly. I'm more motivated to play when the season is about to end which is very bad.

2) I play very badly at the end of the season. I don't know what it is, but when it's the last day or two I feel like I'm on a timer every game and I just can't stop and think about my turns. I made so many subtle mistakes the past couple days that I would never have made just a week ago.

3) I play poorly when I'm tired. I tried staying up last night to play and had to stop because of how little I could focus.

4) I still have issues with ladder anxiety. I've been trying to find ways to help reduce this and I think I'm going to stop looking at the deck tracker to see my stats after each game and I've been starting to listen to music while I play. It seems to help.


So with these in mind I have some things to work on next season. I am going to be starting my Summer job so I don't know how much I can play, but my main goal is to play a little bit each night and play consistently throughout the season.

I've just been playing Zoo so to climb. I did a little bit of Rogue at the season start but I've just been liking Zoo more. Just got Rank 9.

These are the decks I've been using the most this season. I started off with Rogue, but ran into too many Shamans so I switched to Zoo Lock. I'm only about 85 wins away from Golden Warlock. But I started queuing into too many Tempo Warriors so I switched to Control Warrior and went 8-1 from rank 8 to rank 6.

Got stuck with Control Warrior going up against a lot of Zoo Locks and Druids so I decided to switch to Freeze Mage and it's actually been doing pretty well. Here is my list. I got to Rank 5 tonight.

Had a rough couple of days and kept bouncing between Rank 5 and 6 with all kinds of different decks. Then I tried something special and actually put the game in full screen and turned off any streams or videos. I've been doing that all day and I went 17-7 with Control Warrior and finally got to Rank 4. Also, I got the new Mage legendary minion from a pack which I will probably dust when I need to craft something. I don't know what cards I want to make though. I was thinking Mal'Korok and Varian Wrynn for Tempo Warrior, but maybe Xaril for Miracle Rogue.

Quick update. I started a new summer internship today so I may not be able to play as much. But the plan is to try to play at least an hour a day.

Didn't have a great winrate today, only went 6-5, but I got to Rank 3.

Been having some problems fitting Hearthstone into my schedule as well as mostly just dealing with burnout. I still want to get Legend this season, and when I play I play well, so I think it will happen, I just got to get into the right mindset. Still rank 3 but went 5-2 and gained a few stars.

So I was planning on trying to finish out the grind to Legend on Sunday, but for some reason I couldn't connect to battle net. So I'm going to just have to stop being lazy and start playing after work to get Legend this season. I've hit the point where I'm feeling the end of season approaching so I'm actually motivated to play.

Long story short, didn't get Legend last month because I was lazy. Decided to craft this guy though.
