I don't like waiting for heroes to wake. So I buy gems so I don't have to.

As long as you don't spend gems on resources, this is ok with me.

Yeah, not worth gemming resources. I use it for time and barracks/heroes/spell boosting

i have a few questions about the game that maybe you guys can help answer for me.

1. whats up with the trophy amount variation? i could 100% a th7 with weak defenses and walls and ill get 30 trophies, then ill 100% a th8 with maxed defenses for 17 trophies? is it purely random?

2. is there really any reason to upgrade healers or valks? neither seem to serve much of a purpose.

No.

They base it on trophies.

So a th7 base with 1800 trophies would net you more trophies than a th8 with 1600.

They both serve their purposes.

and what are the purposes of healers and valkyries?

Played on iOS right when the game came out but never got too far, now I just started on android. Bought some gems for those builders as well haha. Any tips so I don't head in the wrong direction?

be patient and dont spend your gems on silly shit. save up for 4+ builders. it makes the game easier later on.

dont upgrade your th early or youll regret it later.

dont skimp on walls.

get as much war practice in as possible.

I knew before that you shouldn't upgrade your th until really everything is maxed. Last time I played, clan wars weren't in the game iirc. What is war practice?
