buy rares, salvage for ecto

ok, but where can i buy rare with it? and with whcich salvage kit?

buy rares from the dungeon token vendors (level 68+ rares only, so from ARAH, COE, COF, HOTW)

use mystic salvage kit or master's kit

CoE, CoF, HoTW are all ez dungeons if you don't have downs team mates so do all of them

Use Black Lion salvage charges on exotics
You want to salvage the inscriptions and insignias as well, not just ectoplasm
Check the trade post to see which inscriptions/insignias currently sell high "usually serk, soldiers, ect.."
Find something cheap to spend your tokens on "Like gloves are cheaper than a chest plate" but will render same results for salvage and save you tokens

Dungeons bosses will drop recipes for their Exotic trinkets. They require 200 tokens from a specific dungeons plus orichalcum crafting components.
Example : http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Colossus_Fang sells for 2.83g atm.
of course you will need the recipe. For most dungeons this is far better than salvaging.
