A quick look seems to show that "conversion therapy" is actually pseudoscience and uses dangerous and/or ineffective methods ("A Clockwork Orange"-esque conditioning for example). So that's bullshit.

But, if if I was gay, and there was a safe hormonal treatment that was actually effective and without major side effects that legitimately made you heterosexual, I'd seriously consider doing it. Like, if I was gay, idk if I'd ever come out or even date guys or whatever, the stress of coming out and everything would be way too much, I'd probably just repress it and be celibate.

I think people getting emotional over potential scientific progress, removing illness, diseases, and abnormal behaviors like autism, homosexuality, and other forms of cancer is simple indication of their internalized irrationality.

Autism is a neurological disorder, not a behavior.
