If they have no understanding of good, bad or death then God's words mean nothing to them.

But the long and short of this is that you believe God wanted, or had to, create a world with sin in it, is that correct?

think you'd have better luck asking in the christian fellowship about their beliefs

our resident christians aren't very open about their beliefs

I couldn't do that with this line of questioning. It's questioning their beliefs... Christian forum doesn't allow that.

Also I have 10% for paedophilia apparently. Gotta be warn free to post there.

Then what is the point of Jesus? Or is he 'pure symbolism' too? and what of sin? does that exist or is it just symbolism for 'bad shit people do'?

We should only consider the moral teachings of Jesus.
This higher law is that it was the great legacy left by him, the Law of Love.
Other information from the scriptures are merely cultural and policy for that period.
And the men, my explanation is that we are still rooted in the lower passions, because our moral imperfections.
But this is a matter of time, the law of evolution in undoubtedly will lead to perfection. :hug:
