Who's cares if it's gone up or done, the point is Obamacare didn't solve any of the issues with healthcare in the US. Insurance is a Band-Aid fix to the real problem that is predatory business practices by American doctors and health professionals, as well as an incredibly inefficient system for government funding in healthcare. The US spends 18% of their GDP on healthcare yet the country has the most expensive healthcare in the world. For comparisons sakes, Sweden spends 9%, Canada 11%, Germany 11%, China 5%, UK 9%, Japan 10%, Switzerland 11%, Russia 6%, South Africa 9%, Mexico 6%, Saudi Arabia 3%. Six countries spend more than 12.5%, all developing countries except for the USA. USA has a system where its citizens pay exorbitant prices on healthcare while their government literally is burning money on the same thing.
Obama will claim at the end of his presidency that he helped solve issues of healthcare in the US. In actuality he has simply delayed progress and continued to allow Americans to have medical bills be by far the number one cause of bankruptcy, despite 3/4 of those cases involving people with medical insurance. Sorry Barry, insurance wasn't the problem.
