jawbox and 90s noise rock? holy shit this was the best era. it's also the one subject of discussion i will never tired of. i can talk endlessly about j robbin's song writing, how ahead of their time slint was, how the midwest was and will always be the best place for noiserock, etc.

it's probably the most accessible example of noise rock (any song from "your own special sweetheart" will do it really), and it kills.

both are awesome bands, drive like jehu and every band that spawned from those members have been great.

i actually got lucky and saw jesus lizard for free about three or four years ago. sucks i wasn't around for their heyday, seeing them as old dudes was great enough. couldn't imagine back then. i'm real into a lot of the hardcore that spawned from jesus lizard influence (breather resist, things like that)
