Oh I see. So when you were saying 'your ideology' what you actually meant was 'the one ideology followed by every country in Europe'. How silly of me.  <_<

I mean you too, considering you're a leftist and generally support everything I'm talking about that contributes to the problem.

The one thing I don't understand is why we're allowing people who have left to fight with terrorist groups elsewhere back into our countries...

They still have the Belgian nationality and there is no direct proof of them commiting atrocities.

Of the ones that returned and there is proof of them commiting atrocities, most have been arrested and are awaiting trial.

Politicians are also investigating/debating whether of not it is possible to revoke the Belgian nationality of (guilty) Syria-fighters and deport them.

Anyway, these fuckers are seriously pissing me off.

With this bullshit, they have given my mayor (leader of the seperatist party, a neoliberal and all round scumbag (imo)) what he has always wanted: a military presence in the streets of Antwerp. Fucking soldiers 'protecting' me in my own fucking city.

...unfortunately it was inevitable considering the nature and tactics of the enemy .

Yeah, I'm sorry for the swearing.
But it seriously makes me angry.

And I'm not convinced that having soldiers patrol in the city will solve anything.

You're letting them back into the country because you're more concerned that you might be guilty of making a terrorist stateless (i.e. a human rights violation) than you are of safeguarding an ordinary citizen's life.

There's an outright refusal to accept that culture has a serious impact on how humans function. Western democracy works because of a Western culture that has sprung up around it. You can't transplant that culture into foreign states (look at Iraq) and it takes generations to implant that culture in new arrivals. This isn't a race based issue (look at Russia), it's just a problem when immigration is treated like a taboo subject.

Except I don't and have repeatedly demonstrated I don't. How are you so dense?

AFAIK if you're caught taking up arms in a foreign nation and you're from the U.S., you forfeit your citizenship. It doesn't matter if the U.S. is supportive of the side you're on, you won't be allowed back into the country.

If I'm correct on this (it may have changed...it's been a long time since I read the information on U.S. passports), it was put in place after WWII because a large number of Americans fought for the Germans before we entered the war. It's basically an insurance policy so we don't get caught up in something because some idealist wants to go fight in some civil war across the globe.

Hopefully someone can clarify this. It's my understanding the U.S. is one of the few countries with such policies in place where citizens can give up their citizenship.

Because the UK and the EU are full of politically correct soft cocks.

I don't know why you're surprised.

On these boards you have demonstrated the exact stance required that enables the behavior needed to have unrestrained immigration, I am not asking your personal preferences on anything as it is not a factor, you don't seem to understand the way your thought process is being considered in general
