Since I saw recently people ask here a good rusher guide, I thought "well.. Let's make this guide".
Please note: The "experienced" players out here already know this. But in my opinion this "guide" is more for the new classic players (also for people who comes from Lod (ofc they know what FCR etc is hehe)

6.3 Credits1. IntroWe all know.. In Classic we rush, pretty a lot! Some use bots orso for it, some do half/fully legit. We also know that a rush (especially in Hell) can be hard to do just with sorc (trav excluded, here you need a baba or paladin for sure!), because of the cold immunes.

*For using Shard. If you go for a wand, you ofcourse dont need dex at all
**You can put some in Energy, for more mana (and so more teleports), this is up to you. I dont suggest it though.
4. Gear 1, mostly raresWeapon:Shard – 50 fcr, 10 all res, 50 mana (best weapon overall for casters)
Wand – 20 fcr, high trires, energy (good adds: reph life, mana)
Shield: (Type: Bone shield or Spiked Shield)(10/17 fhr), 30/20 block, @res (good adds: Strenght, reph life, mana)
Armor:Twitch – Unique Studded Leather, gives 20 fhr, 20 icb, 10 strength and dex
The only way to get maxed Block in Classic (dex dont affect Block here)
Gloves:Magefists: 1 fire skill, 20 fcr and regenerate mana
Rings:If you use wand: 2x FCR ring, with str, life, res (mana and dex good adds)
If you use shard: 2x soj, 2x stat ring (str, dex, res, life) or one of both
Amulet:2 soso skill (fcr) strenght, @res (good adds: life, mana, dex)
Belt:FHR, stt, life, res
Boots:30 run, 10 fhr, dual / trires (cold, fire and light)
Cheap gear:Weapon: Shard
Gloves, helm, belt, amulet: Irathas

When higher then 84, you can choose to skill Lighning (dmg) or Teleport (less mana for tele), Personally I guggest to skill Teleport.
At level 92 you have level 9 Teleport/19 lightning
6. Extra Information:6.1 Resistances:With a rush, you ofcourse need good resistances.
Fire – Light – Cold – Psn (Fire most important, psn less important)
6.2 Rush Tactics:Act 1:
Andariel: Go to Catacombs 2, teleport to Catacombs 4,
make a tp like shown here (be sure that every Barrel is destroyed, and every monster is killed.
Act 2:
(normal only): Give the cube to the person u are rushing.
Amulet – Lost City: Teleport to Viper Temple 2, make a tp, make sure you cleaned it a bit (atleast the Skeletons, wich are the only monster who will attack you, regardless where you have the tp (the vipers won’t come there)
Staff: (While you teleport to the staff, let the person you are rushing talk to Drognan) – Far oasis: Teleport to Maggot Lair level 2. Clea rit (including the boss, with your fire/cold skill), and make a tp.
Arcane: (q4 and 5) – Teleport to the Summoner. Make a tp Behind her (if the person you are rushing dies, let him STAY DEAD (to prevent any problems like “cannot complete”). Clear all and kill the Summoner.
Tal Rasha (Duriel) (q6) – Teleport to the Sign the rushee says what the sign is (example: Circle, tirangle, moon etc). Clear it there and make a tp.
After the staff has been put in, let the rushee go BACK to town. Kill duriel, teleeport to tyreal (without talking to him), make a tp and let the rushee talk.
While he is talking to the persons to get to act 3, start with dia (clear the cs). When you done, go further with Act 3.
Act 3:
Travincal (q5): Teleport BEHIND the councils, like the photo:
Make a tp, clear a bit (a “filler” is nice, he can stay as guard), and clear travincal (the bosses), in Normal the Rusher gets his Cube back (one of the councils will drop it). In hell: make a tp in the middle of the councils, let the rushee join, die and let rushee stay dead. Clear travincal then.
Please note that a barb or a Hammerdin will do this!Mephisto: (q6): Durance of the Hate 2 – Teleport to 3, make a tp near mephisto. Let the rushee join and kill mephi (static, orb, static orb, static orb etc)
Act 4:
You already cleared the cs (Diablo himself excluded ofcourse) while the rushee was walking and talking from act 2 to act 3, atleast you did mostly. Teleport to chaos sanctuary, make a tp, let the rushee walk behind the wall (to protect himself). Then kill diablo (hell excluded): Orb, then static static static. Finish with orb.
