Level 18 LLD 2v2 Tournament Signups Starting Now!

This fun-based tournament is designed to give some new guys a chance to try out lld team duels and test their skills against other new guys as well as some veterans

There is a prize pool of 400 fg, thrown up by myself and a few others, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the pool though nobody is required/should feel expected to pay anything.

There is no entry fee, it is free to join.

The duels will start taking place January 16th - This gives everyone 2 weeks to either finish up or build a basic level 18, which is more than enough time.

Tournament Setup:

- You will play every team once

- Duels will be 2v2, first to 5 wins

- Defeating another team will earn you 2 points. Defeating another team 5-0 will earn you 3 points.

- Winning at least 1 duel out of the 5 will earn you 1 point.

- The team with the most points after every team has matched up once will be the winner.

- First place will receive 300 fg, Second place will receive 100 fg (open to change if the prize pool has additional contributors)

How to Sign Up:

You can pm anyone else who signs up individually to team up with you, or a team can be set up for you.

- Signing up as a team: Pm me with "Signing as team" followed by 1 line for each person using the format shown above ^

Tournament Rules: (This part is strict to keep classes balanced.)

General

- All duels will take place in the Blood Moor in act 1, in a Normal mode private game.

- 1 Player per team says "g" or "go" at the beginning of each round. The duel is null/does not count if one team does not say go.

- Each duel will have a referee watching from inside town. The referee is not to leave town.

- No abusing defensive play (camping in houses/corners, running around houses/bushes/puddles continuously, etc - This will be judged by a referee watching the duels, but keep in mind guys this is a tournament intended for fun, try not to get too serious)

- GM Life Replenish Cap is 25 for all classes other than Pure Chargers and Fissure Druids. Chargers are capped at 15, Fissure Druids are capped at 40

- Slow of any form other than cold damage or clay golem is BM. (meaning cleglaws gloves, general's flail, etc)

- Potions of any kind are BM. This includes Mana pots, stamina pots, etc. You will be asked to show your belt in trade before stepping out to the blood moor each duel if you are suspect of using potions.

- Prebuffing from stash is BM. Prebuffing from cube if held in inventory is GM.

- If the map has a bridge, you cannot go past the bridge.

- Having over 75% resistance to any element is BM.

- Talking shit will get you disqualified. This is a tournament intended for fun, these are not pride duels. Keep it gm fellas.

Character Limitations/Skill Bans

= General =
Only 1 Character Class per team.

= Paladin =
- Holy Freeze is not allowed
- Prayer Aura is not allowed
- Cleansing Aura is not allowed
- Holy Bolt is not allowed

= Necromancer =
- Curses are not allowed
- You may only cast Bone Armor once. Recasting will result in a lost round.
- A maximum of 3 Bone Walls per screen.
- Skeletons are not allowed

= Amazon =
- Slow missiles is not allowed

= Druid =
- You may only cast Cyclone Armor once. Recasting will result in a lost round.


Don't worry about having perfect gear.
Nobody has anything close to perfect gear right now this early in the ladder and everyone is using random temp setups. Get what you can to use for now :)
- Many of these builds are not expensive to make. You can make a character worthy of competition for 150-200 fg.


If you're worried about not doing well: Don't worry about it! We're not looking for only veteran players, in fact the more new guys the better. The idea of this tournament is to get some new faces to join in on the fun. We're looking for all kinds of skill levels, so don't be worried about not doing well. There are a few builds I can recommend to someone who does not consider themselves that great a dueler and still wants to join in and have a chance.

To clarify guys: I tried to make this as an Event, it was almost a thousand characters too big.

So anyone who wants to sign up just pm me the info as stated above and I'll set you in
