the game is not of the utmost importance it would seem, during and after the game the woman shown her true colors and was sent to the void for that, while the man had some issues, he was sincere in his intentions during life and was deemed as "good" and sent for reincarnation

White haired guy has final decision, the game is only there to bring out the true nature of the people playing it.
The girl did win the game but in the end showed her true colors which got her lead into the void.

at least that's how i see it.

Is that really what happened? It seemed to me that she was being sarcastic when she went on that rampage and remembering how much she loves him. This would only make sense if the winner chose which of the two places they would go.

that doesn't really seem like that would have an effect on who goes where though.
in the end it's up to Decim from what i gather.
he would be able to see the truths being like some sort of god. (would the gods willingly put bad people back into the world?)

and there really isn't a manga/novel to look back on either to get a better picture of what went on

One thing i noticed however was that they left in the same elevators they arrived in but the faces labeling each one were swapped.

there was no flashback before she goes bitchy

she went bitchy after he started going crazy with saliva all over the place and theres a short seconds of her closing her eyes and looks like shes resolving something

oh wait nvm i saw the flashback when she starts going bitchy
