Another shield question...

How should I socket Jeweler's Monarc with 30% FBR / 68% CTB / 4 SOCKETS?

This is giving so many options...I don't know what to do!!

2 Ums for 44% RES ALL, and 2 Jewels w/-15% req?

or 4 Ums?

or 4 Ists?

This shield could add so many variances.... Does anyone one have any ideas? suggestions? HELP!!!

Here's the deal : If you can squeeze in max block and more damage without losing a TON of life or resists, and while keeping the break points for FHR and FCR, go for it. So if you can mix in that shield, more power to you. It's not absolutely needed, though.

If I add a Shael to JMOD, it will up FBR to 50% which will keep 5fp break point. But how do i use the rest of 3 sockets to max out CTB rate?

It seemed as though it would be perfect to add 3 Dex jewels, but I am not so sure any more after an experiment. I found a +9 dex/resist jewel and socketed it to JMOD, but it did nothing to CTB rate..

Any suggestions to max out CTB rate?

ultimate mf/keyfinder is full tals anyway

full tals as a light sorc is a good idea, with the setbonus -15% light res, and all pieces socketed with -5 facets together with infinty A2 merc, you can break most imunities.
also good for HC, get the 117% fcr, go for vita, play carefully, cta + spirit on switch

Don't use TS or ES or FA..

Fucks up your mana in hell. (If any monster hits you, all your mana goes down the drain.)

what do u do about the immunes?

Correct... If Offense merc is bought in Nightmare difficulty... you have a Might Aura merc



... ummm, only a Defensive merc bought in Nightmare difficulty has Holy Aura...
If you buy Offensive mer in Normal or Hell... you get Blessed Aim Merc... not Holy Freeze
If you buy Defensive merc in Normal or Hell... you get Defiance Merc... not Holy Freeze

Now onto the guide... All in all... it is a simple basic setup to me... but... it works...

... Base 1 point Static... New Ladder is upon us... this skill is one of the godliest skills out... from low levels to high levels:
... You missed it out... you would kill off bosses like Baal/Diablo in less time than just using Lightning...

Ethereal Spirit Monarch: Str Req 146... this could be an option for switch... pre bo... (note... read your comments on what is greater... I tend to disagree because of length of time BO remains)
Non Eth Spirit Monarch: Str req 156... this is worth putting points into strength, re-evaluate what you have in helm/weapon (armor if tal set build)

Mf does not effect chance of keys dropping... so can you really categorise this build as a keyfinder?...

I like your ideas... seen them and done it myself... it works... I just prefer the full tals set light sorc build.

On another note... layout could be better... maybe quote your reasonings... not sure... maybe different font sizes... still not sure:
