i hear bedbugs are making a comeback and they're hard as fuck to get rid of

they may even be in your neighbors place if you're in an appartment

we had fleas hella bad one time when i was a whipper snapper (this is your terminology right?) and had to bomb the place many many times. Was terrible

Ya it was bad.

This sounds like the plot of a sitcom lol

It would have been funny to watch someone else go through.

Did you let your daughter keep the cat?

My wife did... I didn't like the first cat, but I know better than to get between a mamma bear and her cub. She lets me do my thing and I let her do thing and we do our things together and I let the small shit slide. Fuck i didn't notice it until we got fleas and I was trying to figure out wtf was going on and tracked them back to her end of the house by size of them bastards. Then I her opened the door and a damn flea farm ran out worse than anything I ever saw. I have killed rabbits infested with fleas in the winter and they jump off the rabbit as you are skinning it because its cold, and this cat had way more fleas than anything I ever encountered in the wild and I have killed literally thousands of small game animals and hundreds of big game animals. It was crazy. I ended up taking all the animals to the vet when I bombed the house and have them professionally cared for.

I'm surprised your daughter tolerated the fleas lol. Like, I understand wanting to care for a stray cat, but how on earth could your tolerate living with fleas.

It reminds me of the "this is fine" meme, only with fleas instead of fire

Kids are fucking weird. Also, wouldn't be surprising to me at all if she just didn't notice or didn't think it was a big deal that the cat was all fucked up, just more of a reason for her to take care of that little stray kitty.

I'll say this: the best cat I ever had was a stray. He lived in a house with like 30 other cats before the lady abandoned it, leaving animal control to exterminate most of them (lady literally boarded up her house to slowly starve them all to death; was actually a good thing animal control was notified). Growing up like that, he wasn't an ungrateful bastard like most cats. He knew to appreciate what he had, namely food and attention.

/and of course he had fleas to take care of, lol

My old cat, Kirby, was fucking awesome. He literally acted like a dog and when I gave him food from my hand he'd take it nicely like our dog. My gf would try to do it and he'd fucking snatch it and bite her at the same time, made me laugh and feel proud at the same time. Then one day I gave him flea treatment and my gf got pissed at him and let him out and he never came back.

Now I've got an almost pure black feral cat, have had him since he was 2-3 months old, and he doesn't like anyone but me. He literally will sit in my hand and just chill, I'll try to get a pic. He tolerates other people, but he will wait next to my recliner until I sit down. If other people get close to him he runs or swats at them, not with his claws out, but it's funny shit.

And then my gf adopted another cat who's mom died when it was like 5 weeks old, she was a farm cat and got eaten up. He's cool but he's used to my son just lugging him around, and if you give him attention he'll climb up on your shoulder and burrow in.

I stepped on our last cat when she was about 6 weeks old.... almost killed it. Never really fully recovered and came home a few months later missing it's tail and a chunk of its ass. Cat had a rough life.

So far I called pest control to come in asap. Told the landlord and she's dealing with it. Vacuumed my bed and all that jazz.
Paid someone to professionaly wash the clothes. When i was vacuuming I didnt see more than 4 if that. But then again eggs are a bitch.

Ladder reset.

You sure?

Guess it's time for me to sell everything before prices plummet.

Thanks for the info.
