simple questions that will spark months fun debate lol: Does a god exist? Which god? Is it even possible to know whether a god exists or not? What evidence do we have that supports either a god existing or not? Can we ponder the properties of a deity? (this is simply the god debate please, creation vs evolution will be next if this one isn't too boring)

When or whennot a god exists, we can never truely know, but without evidence for it, what reason is there to believe? The very thing has to be presumed
for us to even take it into consideration, I say we take it into consideration when there is scientific evidence for a possible *god*.

I think the evidence points to Jesus of Nazareth existing, dying, and rising from the dead. He claimed to be God, and I think scripture makes clear that He was God. There's numerous other paths that you can go down to explain God.

The fact remains though... faith is a gift from God Himself. You can't will yourself into believing.

in what way does scripture clarify? how can you verify that the scripture is full of anything but legends voted upon by a committee?
