I notice quite a few people have a lot of gold, how do you guys obtain so much of it without FG of course...

Dungeons and Fractals primarily has been where I get most of mine... Aside from leveling more characters and selling/salvaging the gear I find.

Farming SW right now is very lucrative.

Aside from any trading that seems to be the most stable income atm.

Get up 100g doing dailies/monthlies/dungeons/selling random crap you find.
Go to the trading post, find something with a decent gap in buy/sell orders.
Place buy orders.
Make sell orders.
100g will now be 105g.
Repeat.
Ofc profits can be more, there are even websites to help with this.
keep doing dailies n dungeons inbetween.
You find yourself 1k gold, making 50g a flip,

Only craft exotics and whatnot to level your profession to max level. You can buy exotics on TP or from vendors with alternate currency, like dungeon currency.

The only items you should craft to use are your ascended and legendary gear mostly, aside from food and whatnot if you have the resources.

so did you play the jiggalo? and the rpg fappers pay you the golds?



and i make money by

leveling
dungeons/daily/monthly
guild missions
tpvp
wvw
story
gamble (salvage/buy/sell)
salvage shit smartly, for example a yellow item you have a chance i think of 2-3 ecto (40-48s each) which sometimes gets you 3x as much as if you sold the yellow item for.

you can do stuff like spend dungeon tokens on the armour and salvage ecto/insignia from them to make a few gold per piece if you get lucky as well as the gold made from running the actual dungeon

i just play and gold racks up i don't really go farming it

oh u can also run people from place a to b for gold charge, risky if they dnt pay up front though
