the update just went live and it's pretty promising. to summarize: fuck hotjoin, unranked arenas, dishonor system, bigger rank point rewards, and map voting.

now i need a PvP team that doesn't fuck around

It definitely is refreshing, can't wait for the actual roll out though since it's still technically in beta atm.

I have bad feelings about the courtyard map coupled with the chance that full premades can go against all solo q'rs lol

Yeah it's happening often actually
Last night our guild "which was a full 5-man team"
Just kept getting put against a ton of new solo'ers who were testing the arenas new changes
It felt very unfair and wrong

They had said that this was not supposed to happen with the new MMR pairing system
But it is indeed happening very frequently

I'm pretty sure something didn't patch right on the initial patch
Because 5-man teams are supposed to be getting paired with other 5-man teams or at the worst 4-mans with a PUG
5-man is never supposed to go against a team of solo que style PUGs "or so they said"



Aside from all of that, I do like the new changes
