All minions count towards the quest, as long as you play it. For example patches isn't counted if you summon it with another pirate.
The counter only shows the name of one minion: the one you have played most.
If you have played the same (highest) amount of two or more minions, it will show the name of the minion you first played to that amount.

Yeah this. For instance the 2/1 elemental that freezes is a really good choice vs Pirate warrior, but if you don't draw it firefly is fine too. Therr are some that are usually good though. Swashburgler for instance is good 90% of the time.

The deck can handle damn near anything it's crazy. Good vs control and aggro ice block cucks what few combo decks are out there.

i hate iceblock with a passion, i almost hate the card as much as i like pizza lul

yeah I agree ice block is very frustrating..

dude just plays 2 ice blocks when you have lethal, then gets to kill you when you can literally do nothing unless you run stupid cards like eater of secrets which is useless against pretty much anything but mage
