However, Versteegs been looking REALLY good, and he's 6 years younger and finally seems to be settled down onto a team for good. He's been moving a lot since he got traded from Hawks back in '10 (4 teams in 3 years)
Not sure if im reading capgeek correctly, but do the hawks have 6m cap space? If so, they might buy a rental.
Pretty sure there's zero cap space. Somebody will need to be moved out (Bickell?).
Steeger is playing well this season but I still wouldn't feel comfortable counting on him to play a legit 2nd liner in the playoffs.
