As it happens, we have an excellent witness to events in Judaea in the first half of the first century A, Philo of Alexandria (c. 25 BC-47 AD). Yet Philo says not a word about Jesus or Christianity! Feel free to explain.

Perhaps it was under his radar. I don't believe Christianity rose to popularity for some time after his death.

Then there is the issue of Paul. Was Paul simply the first troll?

Well Jesus wasn't even born until around the year 6 ad so it makes sense that Philo wouldn't mention Christianity since that didn't even start until well after his death.

I've never seen a source claiming he was born that late.

Yeah that would be an extreme fringe opinion from my understanding.

Perhaps it was 6 BC?
Just about everything puts him born somewhere between BC 6 - AD 1
