I like your come back. Care to elaborate? Or do you think hiding out in a subforum for a game you don't like anymore is somehow a flash of brilliance most of us will never understand?

Like I said, the game is not great. But to generalize entire patches as "+5 stats lol" is lazy trolling. I'd love for them to revert to vanilla, but it isn't gonna happen. So I just play what I'm provided because it's still somewhat enjoyable to me. I certainly don't go to the WoW forums and say "hurr durr I hate this fucking game durr" in 15 threads a day.

I think he is refering to the fact that they are making minor changes that aren't really important. all those changes you named are insignificant because the core of this game isn't great.

I didn't say the updates were game fixers, did I? I just listed the notable patch updates in response to someone who said that the entire patch was a "+5 stat upgrade".

The only redeemable aspect about diablo at this point is the fact that there are seasons, and that seasons are (generally) bringing new popular builds to each class. Doesn't mean that the game is in anyway how I'd like it to be.

I'd prefer vanilla D3 with trade, refreshing economies with new seasons, and an end game that involves beating a certain uber hard boss as opposed to farming T6 1500 times a week with ease after 50 hours played.

It's just not viable at this point, the loot system wont allow for it after they made the changes they did.

And for what it's worth, I think removing trade from a trading based game is just about the biggest mistake a company can make. Runescape tried the same thing half a decade ago, and they came crawling back with free-trade again when they realized it killed off half their active playerbase.

Blizzard will probably come to the same conclusion when seasons "excitement" wears off after #3 or 4 and end up bringing back free trade and a new loot system for next Xpac (or Diablo IV, which ever they decide to charge us for first)

i think the fact that most of the people prefer vanilla d3 (which at the time everybody thought it had major issues) over the current state of the game is showing it went from bad to worse.
