i got to experience this first hand yesterday

a cop for no reason pulled his gun on me threw me to the ground, kicked me around a bit, hand cuffed me and made me sit against a wall with my wrists bleeding for 3 hours

his supervisor shows up and lets me go

no charges, no allegations, nothing

miami cops are ruthless

young police officers these days just want to hurt people, they dont care about protecting anyone. this cop wanted me to give him a reason to shoot me.

so he wasted 3 hours of his time, and my time, for nothing, when he could have actually been doing something useful

i escape with a sprained wrist, bruised knees and shins, partially dislocated shoulder, and probably a mild concussion

note that when he walked up and immediately drew his gun, i went straight to the ground and put my hands behind my back, no resisting at all

File a claim against the man behind the badge. This prick has a name and address.
Do not file a claim against the "department" rather you go straight after the man.

Have your examining medical professional give you a detailed statement of your injuries as fresh as you can get it and document it with images.
Justice is a claim away.
