From your experience, what is the fastest way to get 10 points (so that I may get the fiery sword in gw2)?
I think it's 3 to connect an account?

I'm hoping to spend as little $ and time as possible

budget of a few k's of fg.

from what i've seen:
3 to link account
5 to get a pvp statue (zhiathan)
2 rare pet statue

No idea how the game's economy is now
But the easiest 10 points was generally the actual displayable stuff in the HoM
Fill up the mini-pets
Buy the armor sets
Buy the weapon skins
Get all the hero statues
Complete the missions

you get

5 points for 20 miniatures if you include 1 rare and 1 unique (not hard.)

5 points for 7 sets of armour.

3 just for linking an account to gw2 i think.

it really depends upon where you are in the game?

did you buy if for the sole purpose of getting AP in GW2? or have you played the game previously?

3 points-- link accounts
5 points-- getting 20 random undedicated minis including one rare (yellow) and one unique (green) should cost no more than 15e (~60fg)
1 point-- ANY pet statue, just take your X/R or R/X and cap ANY level 20 pet and dedicate it
** you can get up to 3 more points for dedicating black moa, imperial phoenix, and black widow, which is very easy to do if you can farm some faction of Balthazar. **
2 points-- get a single oppressor weapon and dedicate it for about 5e (~20fg)

I'm debating if the fire sword is worth it. I have to buy a new gw1 account (the $20 bundle)

Totally worth it on Warriors & Mesmers that can dual wield both the GW1 Fiery Sword and then the GW2 Jormag's Breath Ice Sword

It's also a skin that requires no transmutation charges to use, which is useful

yeah. i had the same problem (I had to buy EoTN).

in the end I decided to go for it. GW1 is a fantastic game, worth playing through on its own.

i miss my decked out lv 10 warrior? i think it was 10, where it was twinked out
