IMO the girl who controls the magically most powerful characters is the most powerful character.

I think they'd be quite a bit more powerful if they used their non-wand hand to shoot a machine gun. their duels always felt silly to me. if the villains are willing to kill, why didnt they just keep blasting the killing curse since they're unblockable? i dont remember any downsides to it.

nowhere in the HP books does it say voldemort was afraid of madeye..... voldemort killed madeye.... and voldemort was only scared of dumbledore, no1 else

if dumbledore wouldve been stronger magically he couldve busted tom any time. they are on almost the same level tho
grindelwald is some kind of a mystery however i think he fits before snape.
snape obviously is more potent then bellatrix is
arthur weasly is imho very underrated. However look what magical objects he deviced, with the invisible flying car and so on.
crouc > madeye. they fought 1o1 and he lost. im not sure who is the strongest in between barty bella and arthur tho.
madeye > is obviously better then kingsley. He was old but in his time he put "half the cells of azkaban" in.
Mcgonagal is good at transiguration, however in battle she seems to be not very good compared to the aurors like kingsley etc.
Also the best bit of magic she did was probably the chessboard and the battle preparation in hogwarts.
maybe even molly weasly is stronger magically then she is. i dunno.
i also dont know where to put lupin, nor sirius.
