I'm not sure if this has been discussed, nothing came up in ctrl+f

I believe it could do the community some good! Would inspire new productive threads, sometimes you don't want to render something and upload allllll the way to youtube and sometimes gif isn't just enough.
I'm not the most technologically proficient, so I have no idea how difficult this may be to implement into a forum, but its just a thought!

You forgot to add a poll in which people can vote "Yes" or "No" and explain why.
However, I vote No as there's already websites that you can host your imagines on.

I'm sure the work to implement this is not worth the trouble when posting a video or image is as simple as somebody copying a URL and posting it between some tags.
