slight change in belt if u all want i said dungos, but a arach would b better if u dont wana tele with swich 20fcr is a breakpoint behind if u were to use dungos n swich

For merc, I'd go with a blessed aim wearing doom(low damage) and choice of high defense helm+armor combo.
Using a might merc would get you killed in chaos by IM. Zerk is all about the magic damage, not physical.
So, same reasoning on not using laying of hands. The +350% Damage To Demons could come back to bite you, even though the 50% fire res is nice to have.
Using magefist allows you to high the 105% FCR breakpoint with wizzy+hoto for teleporting.

With a grief that has 35% IAS and highlords, you already hit the highest attack speed breakpoint.

A lot of people say use phoenix shield, but I prefer Stormshield over it. DR, res, blocking, FBR, Crazy more defense (since it is real defense and not enhanced defense, making shout+iron do wonders).
People say phoenix since it has the enhanced damage, but again, why use it for zerk? Just risking an IM death. Defeats the purpose of zerking. Yea, I see it has +10% max fire resistance, but howl will clear things away allowing to hit your only target. Can just vex your SS for 5%.

A more popular boots option is waterwalks or hotspurs for boots for the +max fire res/fire res/life (and dex on waterwalks). I like these more for boots option in case of a giant lag spike.


EDIT: Could go arachs+magefist with 2x hoto on switch to tele if you ber your Arreats. The skills would raise your bo+shout worth more than the 40 vita from verdungo's and you would keep 50% DR.

Beserk makes ALL of your physical damage become magic, So enhanced damage items and auras (like fort, phoenix, laying of hands, might from merc etc.) will increase your magic damage, Beserk will NEVER do any part of physical damage, it's fully magic damage.
