When I was a student, BMO "lost" $20 from my account. Literally, BMO took $20 out, and nobody there (not even management) could explain it. They asked me if I wanted the question escalated but I decided to just stop using BMO because that branch was incompetent. $20 isn't much but not knowing where your money is going is pretty weird. All big banks are corrupt though. When I was at UofT I was invited to join a think tank dedicated to manufacturing psychological technologies (brainwashing) to turn soldiers into more efficient killers. There was a list of proud corporations backing the project, including some big banks. I had just become part of an activist group (lol, such timing) so at the next meeting, I brought my letter in for "show and tell" (literally, we had that). Pretty sure it made the news but the corporations weren't named.
Lol. I wont go into personal details but rbc give a ridiculous amount of credit and promotions to gambling addicts. EVEN if u tell them, they wont do shit as long as they have assets. 22% annual return on interest rate is too fucking juicy for the banks when hedge fund managers are aiming for 4-5% annual return for good performance lol. Ethics always comes second
