I created a ls char and wen I go in the catacombs I encounter a monster, it starts wacking at me, and im pressing q ,g etc and im not attaicking back I looked through some of the ls faq, but found nothing on how to actually attack the monster.

don't try hardcore until u get a good feel for the game, as in hardcore when u die, ur char rerolls back to 0 and all the items u had on the char will be gone...

really? i've been playing about a week lol 3 climbs (before coming from a week of sc where i had a 35 barb...)
