Any self-respecting atheist knows at least the majority of those examples... What we don't necessarily know is the rational reason for christians accepting, or ignoring, these atrocities and still calling god just and loving.

But that was old testament god... new testament god is much more love and peace and not as much fire and brimstone. He just needed the catharsis of sending his own son to be tortured and killed.

It's funny how from the beginning of the Bible to the new testament, people will say that God changed, when actually it was man's perception of what they needed a deity to be changed, in early times they needed laws and order, once things calmed down they needed to be reminded of their past the histories then they needed to plan ahead and not only live in the day so the prophecies. Then Love and grace and to end it the foreshadowing to keep everyone good until the rapture.
