I've never found a t/d myself but i've gotten ~2-3 spins doin far over 100+ maps

Spins, wells and trap doors have spawned on maps for me as well, albeit extremely seldom.

This is a contradiction. They do or they do not occur. Perhaps they occur at a significantly decreased rate, ut that would mean they DO occur, not that "they do not occur ... except or sometimes, when they do."

They are not supposed to. They have been programmed to not happen. It's a bug that is under investigation. Don't lose any sleep over it ok??

It's a bug in the game. One that njaguar did not intend on and is going to try fix.
