I'm curious if anyone else likes to keep all the old books they have read. If not, what do you do with them?

Right now I probably have around 100 books all grouped by series. I will probably never even re-read the series, but the natural collector in me has to keep them and organize them.

the vast majority of my books are digital. entertainment books (sci fi, fantasy, etc) are audio, educational books (chess, french, programming, etc) are ebooks.

i have a few physical books. i dont have a bookshelf yet, so i stick them in plastic bins so they dont get dusty.

you could always donate them or sell to a used bookstore for credits towards new books. otherwise you'll need a lot of physical space. one of my friends has a room dedicated to books, full of book shelves.

I actually like having the physical books because I've always been a natural collector. I actually like the feeling of finishing a book and knowing it's going to my book collection.

I only own 4 books which I bought new, and I have read them many times each.
I also have about 20 other books I bought used from my library, some of which I haven't read yet, but I imagine I'll read and reread some of them.
