If you could go back and do it all over again (assume its your call), would you have inititated the iraq war?
I'd guess it's a unanimous 'no' but if your answer is yes i want to know your thoughts on this subject

No. It was misguided and getting rid of Saddam was not worth it.

...I would prosecute the war in the exact same successful way we did but handle the after-war differently .

No, but I wish there was a more stable secular leader in Iraq instead of Saddam. I wish Hafez Al-Assad had managed to assassinate Saddam like he wanted, it would have led to a united Syria-Iraq under stable, effective leadership.
I would have given support to Syria to eliminate Saddam and allow a secular Arab-superstate to have the balance of power with Israel in the Middle East. A hypothetical "Mesopotamia" nation and Israel are potent allies.

we sacrificed too much to not finish the job, it was pretty foolish

...I clearly said I would handle the postwar differently . Part of that would be finishing the real job .
