Paul does a closed beta even make sense when there is an active community of like 50 players at a time? I think making an open beta might be pretty good to find bugs quickly.

That is a good idea to say the least! That way everyone has a chance to play and test. Also then no one can complain of "favoritism" or "basis opinions"

Dante: No, the point of a closed beta is to get controlled testing and bug reports, not a bunch of people randomly playing and an avalanche of duplicate bug reports + coordinating with everyone to "refresh now" so that said duplicates aren't reported. Open beta is to stress test things once it's fairly certain all bugs have been worked out, to find any fringe case issues. That's how efficient development cycles work.

Nice... so would you beta test in HC? It may also help with other alterations to monsters that could insta kill ppl that have higher vitality compared to SC... the comparison of damage in SC won't show how strong the monsters truelly are because of low vita builds. Just a thought.

Pretty much everything is now ported over "as is". Few exceptions are some miscellaneous things, like the pvp stuff, a couple effects (paralyze, resistances, etc), and the damage box needs a little cleaning up (but I opted to wait, since I knew I was going to be redoing some stuff anyway).

Started on display cleanup, got the character select displaying nicely on landscape/portrait. Mostly just working out a game plan on how I'm going to tackle the display stuff, but seems to be working good, so will probably push ahead with this style.

Playing on mobile, even "as is", is a LOT of fun! Can't wait to show you guys.

Showing the game unfinished would be counter-productive. While I know you guys are excited, you will have to wait until it's done. Sorry. I will probably share some more screenshots, though.
