thought they only messed around with civilians but it seems they have issues with fire fighters too, multiple incidents of cops arresting fire fighters who are actively trying to save citizens

Was something stupid though, officer got shunned down for it AFAIK.

fire departments are notorious for thinking they are above the law.. because in times of emergency, they often are above many laws. But they also take it too far and push the envelope of what is legal, sometimes overstepping their boundaries. The same faults can be said about police departments but firefighters in particular have a "own all" attitude and tend to be snobby, snide, and arrogant.

theyre also known for gaming the retirement system like dbags, but they get away with it because they 'sacrifice'.
