hey guys i know... it sucks and blabla but im stuck with it.


hey currently my task bar is transparent and it annoy's me as hell

i prefer having solid colors. any way to change it?

I belive it requires third party software/utility to disable transparency for the taskbar in Windows 8.

You could try editing the registry though, try these steps (take your time);

1) Press Windows key + R and type regedit and hit enter to open the registry editor
2) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\DWM
3) Add DWORD value, name it as "ColorizationOpaqueBlend" without quotes, and set value data to 0
4) Restart your computer

No it does not suck. Just accept that it's not 7. Using windows 10 and I really suggest you try to get rid of that "7-thinking".

i dont have any problem with windows 8.

only thing i hate from windows 8 is the metro app crap section / not having my start menu / and the taskbar transparency.

Try classic shell. Also, you can uninstall the preinstalled metro apps with powershell in few minutes if you want.
