Fill this out:

More specific use (what games, what programs):
Planned time until purchase:
Do you need an Operating System?:
Do you have any specific preferred components?:
Do you need a sound or wireless card?:
Do you want stock cooling or do you plan on overclocking?:
Do you need a monitor? mouse? keyboard?:
Zip code/location? (Shipping costs):

And we'll do it up right. No reason to bother with OEM bs with a $600 budget.

You don't need a sound card. You will need a wireless card if you don't plan on hooking your computer to ethernet (rather than wifi) and the mobo in question doesn't have one built in.

Don't worry about cooling, we'll recommend the smartest option within your budget... which is going to be tight with needing an OS, kb, mouse, and monitor in Canada (country of overpriced electronics).

Are you sure you can't get Windows 8.1 cheap or free through sources like dreamspark or friends?

Windows is ~ 80-100$

Motherboards have built in sound cards... pci sound cards are for higher end audio

Could get a lesser graphics card like a 280/280x or a 760
