The city of Keene has an annual event in which they try to set the world record for carved pumpkins assembled. The school and local communities get together and carve pumpkins. They compete with Boston each year for this record.

It is also a college town and because of this it is the annual party weekend for the college.

Kind of ya. Not to this extent, but crowds have been tear gassed for the past two or three years

It's a big event. Draws in a lot of college aged people.
