Nobody is stopping anybody, just asking for transcripts.

This is really iffy though. I don't know anything about the churches subpoenaed. They could be radical organizations.

Should be that they get in trouble IF they discriminate, not that the government preemptively interferes.

...churches are allowed to discriminate in certain situations . Without a doubt they are free to teach and believe that homosexuality is an evil .
