Scaly this guy invaded a home and beat a mother right in front of her 3 year old daughter and threw her down the stairs.  He had already been convicted of home invasion and had just gotten out of prison.

My point is this.  We need people to protect us.  Our protectors deal with absolute savages that have no compassion, no morals, and no fear of consequence.  So when Officer Wilson guns down "an unarmed black boy" let us wait and gather the facts before protesting.  You don't need a knife or gun to be armed.  These "boys" aren't children.  They're thugs.

No I have a job and some of my tax dollars goes to police to protect me.  Can I count on them to prevent crime from happening to me?  No of course not.  Apprehending these criminals though is their job and keeping them off the streets protects me from their animal behavior.

I don't know enough about that specific situation to comment on it.  What you just said though seems reasonable.  The questions I have are: Do those criminals pose a threat to others while this helicopter is in pursuit? Is there any chance at all, however slim, that the helicopter will lose sight of them?  IS there a helicopter available?
