Oi,

I was just wondering how present the comedy is in this anime. Tbh I don't really like comedy in movies/anime in general as I think it breaks the atmosphere and immersion. This is why I like shows like Berserk or Shigurui and since I can't find anymore like those I was wondering about FMA:B . Do you think I'd like it based on what I just said?

Well.. guess ill just try the claymore anime once again, the first few episodes felt really cheap though, and characters are very bland

I always felt like Claymore was meant to feel sort of "bland." It's a pretty hopeless setting. If you're only a few episodes into it though I'd recommend toughing it out. Far as FMA:B goes, I hate that stupid cat-face humor as well but it's dark enough to offset those weird childish moments.

Ya I get what ur saying, i believe i stopped watching when the claymores were challenging each other and there was those stupid fight scenes and crappy dialogs. In fact when watching claymore I can't help thinking "wow, berserk is so much better than this..." but maybe its just the beginning thats a bit boring. Ill give fmab a try anyway since it is so praised by ppl

Berserk is my favorite show of all time and the only reason I got into Claymore was because niggas were like "yo if you want more sword violence check out Claymore." Of course if you're watching it and can't help but compare it to Berserk, it'll feel like a pretty underwhelming show. It gets interesting though, I promise.

Edit: I'd never even heard of Shigurui but that shit looks awesome. I might have to check that out instead of what I was planning to watch.

try sword of the stranger and ninja scroll (ive only seen the movie, not sure how good the show is)

Do check out shigurui then, even if you don't "like" it, the visuals, music and armosphere are worth it imo, plus its only 12 episodes
