I can't decide on my choice between Scipio or Flavius Aetius

I suppose Flavius Aetius simply because Rome was no longer a super power when he staved off Atilla and 300 thousand soldiers with a fraction of that at a time when Roman power was already crumbling...

Scipio is overshadowed by his inferiority to Hannibal and Aetius was from a time where tactics were going to shit.

Caesar is the answer, Fabius the Delayed deserves mention for delivering the Republic.

clearly fabius. He was right, he knew it, everyone else said he was wrong, he kept saying he was right, they learned first hand how wrong they were and right he was, and then said he was right
