I think what the right is worried about is more that ebola sufferers will fly to America for their superior medical treatment. It's a common slogan in right wing nationalism - they assume that because they think they are better than everyone else that everyone else wants to steal or ruin what they have. Sometimes it's even true...

This. The right is overhyping the danger ebola represents in order to gain political strength when they claim that they are the only ones willing to do something about it.
