Funny movie , but the Black Plague didn't create Highly contagious bodies even after death.

Getting Medieval on dead bodies is a recipe for disaster.

Transmission is the more important concern than individual wellness, to society.

But im pretty sure you'd be the guy running around the Zombie Apocalypse movie screaming

"We can use Modern Medicine to cure them"

The reports coming out of Dallas that I posted earlier in this thread highlight a very important thing to consider. We don't live in a perfect world, with a perfect government, healthcare system, and people where this disease would stand no chance. We live in the real world, where people recently evolved from monkeys, and shit happens. Hospitals can very easily be overwhelmed with just a patient or two. Dallas had one patient, just one, and we have reports of hazardous materials being stacked all the way to the ceiling, with nurses feeling lied to and alone in dealing with this problem, and so far have two nurses infected. Two Americans, that never had to come in contact with this disease. This is the largest outbreak of Ebola since we first discovered the disease, and we have no experience dealing with this situation. Ebola has never been in the US. If more cases start popping up, and judging by WHO predictions they will and in far greater numbers, the CDC can not be expected to cover every major hospital in the country.

To think you know how this situation is going to play out is hubris. No we're not all going to die, but that doesn't mean this isn't a very serious situation. It doesn't have to be one or the other, and as usual, the truth is probably somewhere in the middle. I think it is a logical necessary step to prevent people in areas experiencing an outbreak from boarding a plane to the US.
