Jessabelle (2014)



Rating this based on the HORROR factor... I'm giving it a 4/10.

That being said, it's actually not a terrible movie and totally worth watching, it just isn't "frightening", though it does have a few moments.

The movie is about a woman named Jessabelle (goes by Jessy) and her "quest" to find out more about her past.

I Spit On Your Grave (2010)


I give it a 6/10
OVERALL I think the movie moved entirely too slow and I wasn't too keen on the beginning half

However, the latter half made up for what I missed in the first.

This is a flick about a writer who moves to a remote location for peace and relaxation and gets the exact opposite... Leading her to exact revenge on those who wronged her.

Terrible, terrible, terrible.

NOT A HORROR MOVIE but felt it needed a review because of how good it was

Dracula Untold (2014)



10/10

This flick was a good mixture of history and fantasy.
It had a real Game of Thrones feel (which is easily translated since they have two GoT stars in this film) and that was greatly appreciated by myself.

I also loved that this film didn't include gratuitous nudity, because I think that nudity and sex scenes are highly overplayed in cinema these days.

The film follows the life of Vlad the Impaler post being Vlad the Impaler and as he "turns into Dracula".

Definitely not necessarily a sci-fi flick, though, as stated before, it has elements of fantasy.

Overall, again, 10/10.
I'm very glad my friend suggested it.
