10/12
The Conjuring

Give this flick a 7/10, was pretty good.
Bore a lot of similarities to The Amityville Horror, which I didn't mind.
Love Lorraine Warren so I was a big fan.

10/13

Evil Dead (2013)

Give this one a 8/10, was a good movie despite the ending dragging on a bit.
Nice twist at the end (if you're not familiar with story I guess), awesome deaths, awesome story, overall GG.

Moving on to Evil Dead 1981 now

Skipped Evil Dead (1981) because I couldn't justify watching that pile of crap again.

Watched Insidious

Gave this movie a 5/10 ... I initially planned on giving it a 6/10 but I really couldn't justify it.
This movie drug on really slow and just made me wish I was in the land of the dead so I didn't have to watch it any more.

Overall I don't regret watching but I truly don't know if I can justify watching the sequel.

Not yet at least.

Next movie I'll watch I started watching a while ago and never finished, figure I'll give it a second shot...

Solid idea Noel. I should start one of these too... I watch soooo many horrors.

Insidious was arse. I want 90mins of my life back. Watched that and Paranormal Activity in the same night. Worst film night of my life... hands down.

( Thanks Viv. I'm just watching new-er movies and forming an opinion on them, haven't watched "new" horrors in at least ten years probably.)

I took the advice of a JSP user who was reading my blog and went ahead and watched
Insidious 2

I rated this a 6.5/10
I was pleasantly surprised that this is much, much better than the first one.
(Which makes me wonder if the third is going to be even BETTER?)

Good flick, very pleased with watching it.
Again, way better than the first.

Now I'm going to do Dead Silence as previously stated.

Dead Silence

Overall I'm going to think that I give this one a 6/10.
There were some REALLY lame points but some REALLY clever points.
I actually especially liked the end of the flick, though I thought I was going to really hate it.

Today I Watched
Devil's Due

I rate this movie around a 4/10..
It took an hour and three minutes before it even got "thrilling".
Interesting enough story, worth the one watch, but not really a scary flick at all.... Would've rated way higher if the entire flick had been as suspenseful as the last 20 minutes.

The ending suggests a sequel.... I won't be watching if so.

Today I watched
A Haunting in Connecticut

I was not even ten minutes in and there are thrills and turns.
This is what a horror movie should be like.

Overall I think this was a pretty damn good movie.

I'll give a 8/10

Today I Watched
The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia

This movie was a definite 8/10, if not 8.5/10
Actually a bit better than the first and an altogether good flick.
Consistency throughout the movie and one of the coolest death scenes I've ever seen.

I give this flick a 8.5/10
Pretty goddamn solid horror flick
Was kind of an awkward transition since the mom was played by the same actress who played a main role in Haunting 2: GoG but that was easily looked passed.

Several scenes made me cringe, which is incredibly rare...
Karen Gillan showed a lot of her Scot but it was a really wicked movie

I was pleasantly surprised

Yesterday was
Sinister

I give this one a 7.5/10
Was a pretty good movie, I had to watch it in parts so it was a little hard to get completely into but that wasn't the movies fault. ;)
Good flick though
