He opens up the video btw, with saying that liberals don't support liberal ideals. I agree. Many people in America do not support freedom of speech. A lot of people think when you go home your employer should still have control over what you say.
Nobody thinks that. Bill Mahr seems to be able to say controversial things without getting fired, I'm a liberal and I'm okay with that.
I mean is he really defending Imus calling the Rutgers womens basketball team a bunch of 'nappy headed hoes'?
I love how you libertarians worship the free market until it does something you don't like. People being fired for stuff their employer doesn't like is part of the free market. If you want job security, start a union. Ugh.
Yes, Islam and Democracy likely don't go together. Islam means 'submission' and the principles of Democracy self-determination and the right to seek happiness, pretty much the opposite sentiment of 'submission'. That is why we separate church and state.
There are two cities, the city of man and the city of god. They only connected during the medieval times in the great experiment of theocracy after the fall of Rome. Before and since they've been separate and with good reason. It has served us well, Islam hasn't had that separation and they are worse off for it.
