I'd recommend Fallout 2, not great graphics but fantastic story line and great gameplay.

You should try Dungeon Siege 3 on Steam. It is a great RPG for singleplayer and multiplayer, especially if you have friends over.

It is like Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance. I had fun with it. If you are into D2, you might like Dungeon Siege 2 as well. If you do, be sure you read the guide on how to get the expansion installed and running!

jRPG wise, just a mention legend of heroes trails in the sky is an amazing game..

You played mass effect, Knights of the old republic is there earlier game which is still amazing. I just bought neverwinter nights 2, kind of like a single player diablo 2.. pretty amazin.

Edit; You played DA:O but not DA 2? A lot of people hate on the battle system but I find it nice and fast paced, still engaging. The lore/choices/companions are all top notch too..

Alternatively Planescape: Torment / Baldurs Gate 1/2 / Fallout 1/2 / Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic are some that I can think of.
