Hello,

this maybe a stupid question, but I wonder how to copy/paste the "true" stats of an item. i mean, without modifications by the character stats.

If the item texts have been copied from a character profile (like this for example: http://forums.d2jsp.org/user.php?c=3&i=671165&p=483819), it seems to me that the displayed stats are modified by the char's values. Which is obv not good for use in trade topic.

Hopefully my english skills are sufficient to make clear whats my problem

€dit: Thx SCXiao. I just noticed it is possible when the item is on MP, but that is ofc no practicable solution.

€dit: Thx hasteful. Gold logs should work, but i cant find them all (too many/not sure about the time of purchase).

I don't think it's possible, however people know this and stats like defense and damage don't matter in ladder slasher. What matters is the magical stats such as enhanched effect, strength etc

rly? they also have different stats (eg barb has more str, and so on)

If it's a barb, then it's not a 'none'

Reroll the toon, but don't select a class.

...just tried it out. My "None" Char displays some stats (those of the barb it was before):

Deaths: 0

As pointed out before... people only look at the "Magic Stats" placed on the item, not the end damage / defense that it will show.

If you want to do the work and figure it out exactly, then you will have to use the Ladder Slasher portal and click either:

Weapon
Armor
Charms

Find their tier level, find corresponding numbers you want... IF... the item has X% enhanced effect, then calculate them with the
corresponding numbers [remember to round down] to give you an exact number. Note: as for Dex/str items, I am unsure if they
will automatically change the value of the item worn or in inventory.

If you are talking about the price of an item when you bought it, then you have to go to your character screen [on jsp], right click
and select View Source... you will have to find that item and the ID code number [it will be in a string of words linked to that specific item],
Copy this number... go to your Forum Gold and use the "Find" function [think it is CTRL+F] and paste that ID number... then press enter.
If it does not show up, go to a previous month and do it again, and repeat until you find it.

Or you can find the ID code number, go to your Forum Gold, click on one of the links [sold items] and with the new page open, just paste
the ID code number where the other number is, this should give you direct access to it.

Hope this all helped... sorry for long winded post.

Refer to section 3 for how to check what you paid for an item. I also feel this screen shows an items true stats, but I could be wrong.
If you self found an item, and it has never been sold, it will not have a history and this will not work.

Rex's post above me will work too. Seems a little oddly written, and he has me lost with using ctrl f... But he is correct too...
