Check the scam accusations thread for full story. Thanks all for your input.

Also, apologies eekzie for doubting your stance on altering mail. From my standpoint it wasn't clear, but apparently that is the case.

I carry no hard feelings towards anyone, especially not on jsp.

Well, isn't this just fucking interesting. I cant even reply to the damn SA thread. I'll just post it here for reference later.

I can say without a doubt the gold was in fact sent. I have no screenshots. He said he would send half and then asked if I would go first for the second half. I said that was fine. After receiving the first half of the FG I sent 7000g to him via in game mail. I really dont know what to say here other than this is complete and total crap. Ive been on this site for years and have never had a problem. Ive done much larger transactions than this without issue. I have no way to prove my innocence so I really dont know what to do here. Screenshots mean nothing, anything can be doctored with enough skill. I will not refund him because I know damn well I sent my part. If anyone should be pissed it's me after losing 7000g and only receiving payment for half. I trust the jsp staff will look into this and make the proper decision. If they lock me then so be it but i've done nothing wrong.

So in the end, who knows. I guess ill find out what happens at a later date. Completely bullshit though.....anyone who knows me on here knows damn well I wouldn't pull anything like this.

There is proof actually, a GM looked at all mail between our two accounts when the transaction happened and said that only 1 gold was sent by Raven2201.

Like said, I don't care enough to find it.

I'm not going to waste time searching for a post from like 1.5 years ago that google might not even show up on google.

Daily dungeons / flipping is easiest.

Buying exotic insignia's and then crafting exotic armor used to net like 50-100 silver per item.
Not sure if that's still the case...

Never knew about that ...
I know some people are flipping. I learned about it like 2 weeks ago, didn't even know it was possible in GW2.

Mostly when prices shift it's easiest to make profits, or on items people overlook.

Flipping is easy, it just requires a lot of effort to be honest.
Looking up price fluctuations and such.

For example, you can look at spidy for exotic greatswords and see that everything to 4.25g gets bought up periodically.
So anything below 3.6g you buy.

(Numbers are off probably, but just giving you another example).

Also, most people are super stingy about what they are trading.
Because ''ohhh noo if other people find out about this super secret than i can't do it''.
While in reality, 10 people are constantly doing it for every item there is at any time of the day.

The TP is just a big hassle when it comes to trading.
You can overbid/underbid with 1 copper which kind of defeats the purpose of putting up a bid.

Imagine offering for a house, you bid 250k and then get outbid at 250,000$ and 1 cent.
Any sane person would tell the overbidder to get lost, but it's a valid tactic in gw2.
