Never knew about that ...
I know some people are flipping. I learned about it like 2 weeks ago, didn't even know it was possible in GW2.
Mostly when prices shift it's easiest to make profits, or on items people overlook.
Flipping is easy, it just requires a lot of effort to be honest.
Looking up price fluctuations and such.
For example, you can look at spidy for exotic greatswords and see that everything to 4.25g gets bought up periodically.
So anything below 3.6g you buy.
(Numbers are off probably, but just giving you another example).
Also, most people are super stingy about what they are trading.
Because ''ohhh noo if other people find out about this super secret than i can't do it''.
While in reality, 10 people are constantly doing it for every item there is at any time of the day.
The TP is just a big hassle when it comes to trading.
You can overbid/underbid with 1 copper which kind of defeats the purpose of putting up a bid.
Imagine offering for a house, you bid 250k and then get outbid at 250,000$ and 1 cent.
Any sane person would tell the overbidder to get lost, but it's a valid tactic in gw2.
