ISIS was not a problem until we stopped doing our job. This is something we will have to do for generations.
What would you have us do realistically?
Our job is not to police the whole world.
We are NOT going to win an ideological war by bombing people en masse. We do not have the wherewithal nor the mandate to do what would be necessary to secure a lasting peace in the Middle East. They're going to have to tire themselves out killing each other.

Libertarians have no answer aside put our heads in the sand. I wonder how much help humanitarian aid would be. Empower the people, ISIS has made literally everyone their enemy.
The current proposals call for aimless perpetual war, war at great cost to ourselves for no reasonably good outcome, yet we're the ones with our heads in the sand? LOL! You (and TC) have no idea what to do, but you're definitely gonna make sure to indiscriminately kill untold numbers of people to do it.

I think ISIS has succeeded in terrorizing everyone to the point that they are too scared to fight. But you're right about Libertarians...they are either selfish, cowardly, ignorant, or a combination of them.
ISIS hasn't scared me in the slightest. They have no reach here, they are no credible threat to us. If they were, that actual threat can be dealt with, and harshly. Don't you dare presume that isolationism is the same thing as pacifism.
